from the Garden

Through the use of story telling, recounting of legend and examples of art and architecture this seminar will give those who attend an overview of the language of flowers and how they came to symbolize certain virtues and characteristics.  Handouts provided. Time Required: 90 minutes.

Create a Victorian Blessing Bottle

After a short overview of the language of flowers, assemble a hand-blown glass bottle with your chosen set of herbs and botanicals. All materials provided. Time Required: 2 hours.
